Product Overview

Haminol 385 resin is an advanced high-imino partially methylated melamine resin featuring a low degree of alkylation. Formulated with demineralized water as solvent, this resin offers fast curing capabilities without requiring strong acid catalysts.

Key Characteristics

Reacts with polymers containing hydroxyl and carboxyl groups
Excellent water solubility
High tendency for self-condensation
Capable of increasing acidity in thermoplastic aqueous polymers
Self-catalyzing under normal baking conditions

Application Parameters

Optimal performance is achieved under standard baking conditions of 120-150°C for 15 minutes, where the resin naturally catalyzes the reaction process.
